It came out the other day that the Peanut Corporation of America knew their product was contaminated with salmonella and chose to sell it anyway. The company's product is currently responsible for 8 deaths and hundreds of illnesses. For once I'm sad that America hasn't been taken over by China yet, as the Chinese know how to handle scumbag executives like this. Last week a Chinese court sentenced executives there (guilty of tainting infant milk products with melamine so they would give a false positive reading for sufficient protein levels) to death. Now that's how you handle people like this. In this country they'll probably get a slap on the wrist and a multi-million dollar severance package for being fired.
